The Reactive Dog Owners Club
You are not alone.
Living with a reactive dog can feel isolating. You might avoid certain walks, worry about what other people think or feel like no one truly understands the challenges you and your dog face each day.
The Reactive Dog Owners Club (RDOC) is a relaxed, friendly quarterly event created especially for people living with reactive dogs. This is a human only event, giving you the space to beath and enjoy an evening with people who are walking the same path as you.
Whether your dog barks, lunges, growls or just finds the world a little overwhelming, you'll be welcomed without judgment.
Each meeting offers a safe space to:
-
Meet other reactive dog owners.
-
Chat over a cuppa in a relaxed environment.
-
Share experiences, challenges and successes.
-
Build friendships with people who understand your journey.
There is no pressure to speak if you'd rather just sit and listen to everyone else. Everyone's experience is different, but everyone is welcome.
The club is facilitated by Head Trainer Sarah Davis, accredited dog trainer and founder of Totally pawsome dog training. While training tips may naturally come up in conversation, the focus of RDOC is support, connection and commuinty, not formal training. Sometimes the most powerful thing isn't finding another training technique, its discovering that your not walking this journey alone.

What our clients are saying
Kallum Crossley
"Working with Sarah has been life changing for us, Not least because we have a much better understanding of Koda and feel genuinely supported with his reactivity, but without Sarah, its unlikely that we would have realised that Koda was in pain. Plus, Sarah doesn't just get dogs, she gets people! She's empathetic, encouraging, non-judgmental; she will celebrate all your wins (no matter how small) and will literally be your shoulder to cry on! The only negative is that we didn't find Sarah the day we brought Koda home and instead relied on outdated techniques, social media and YouTube etc."

"I owe a huge Thank You to Sarah in so many ways. Owning a Reactive dog can be a hard and lonely journey, especially when everyone you know has friendly dogs.Sarah has given me the confidence and the tools to take Jasmine back out in the world and enjoy new walks and experiences. Jasmines confidence has grown and continues to do so, we have so many less reactions that we used to and now Jasmine looks to me for reassurance.Becoming part of community who understands the difficulties really helps and Sarah is always on hand for any issues and questions.Thank you Sarah for everything you have done."

"Sarah worked with us and our feral pup of 2!! Weve always had cocker spaniels but this little terror was something different for us!! Sarah worked with us on recall and loose lead walking and we cant thank her enough. We still have a long way to go and don't think that Sarah will do all the hard work for you. She's amazing and knows her stuff but helps you work with your pup to get the best out of your relationship. We cant recommend her highly enough!
